Software Release Notes for 2010

  • BP7 - December 13, 2010 Binocular Operations functional changes Software Release
    Content Changes: This release is BP6 with bug fixes and improvements to many of the TCS subsystems. The bulk of the changes are for binocular operations as it relates to the PCS, IIF, PSF, and GCS. Regarding Binocular Operations this is the first serious attempt to properly control mount pointing, locking/unlocking in the pointing kernel, and guiding using tip/tilt.

    Content Changes: This release is BP5 with bug fixes and improvements to many of the TCS subsystems. The bulk of the changes are for binocular operations as it relates to the PCS.

  • BP4 - October 8, 2010 Binocular Operations functional changes Software Release
    Content Changes: This release contains updates and improvements to many of the TCS subsystems, as well modifications needed to support binocular operations. Specific to binocular operations changes are optics demand passed from PCS to PSF; locking sides, or not; leaking back to the optimized position.

  • BP3 - September 16, 2010 Binocular Operations functional changes Software Release
    Content Changes: This release contains updates and improvements to many of the TCS subsystems, as well modifications needed to support binocular operations.

  • AO1 - January 21, 2010 - No Software Release Notes created.

  • B36 - January 21, 2010 TCS General Development Software Release
    Content Changes: This release changes to config getParameter, sided subsystems in lbt.conf, AO branch bug fixes, rotator IIF commands, TCS GUI gray space reduction
