Generic Release Name: BP2
Public Release Name: "Binocular Operations" release 2
General Description: Demonstrate some of the architectural and functional components of Binocular Operations
Telescope Operator Overview Information
The PCS command line utilities, ptlist/ptmodify/ptreset, now require a side indicator (0 or 1).
Usage: utilityName [side] [term] [termValue]
where utilityName = ptlist | ptreset | ptmodify
side = 0 | 1 where 0=Left and 1=Right
only ptmodify uses the parameters term and termValue
Support Astronomer Overview Information
The new IIF command BinocularControl must be used to indicate the PCS is to allow large Preset target changes.
The new IIF command BinocularControl must be used if synchronous Presets/Offsets are desired.
The Details

none.
Release Overview
This release is a superset of build AO5.
Binocular Presets and Offsets are now either 'synchronous' or 'asynchronous'. Synchronous Presets/Offsets require the TCS be notified through the BinocularControl command, and exactly one Preset/Offset per side is expected. The TCS will wait for both command to be received before proceeding. Asynchronous Presets/Offsets do not require notification, but only one will be processed at a time. The PCS will apply 'nearby' tests to determine validity of the final target.
