FACSUM / WEATHERSTATION Software
To bounce the processes running on the big displays go to:
http://displays.mountain.lbto.org You can also see what's running on these displays from this page.
The pages in this section discuss the FACSUM and WEATHERSTATION GUIs which run on the big displays in Tucson and on the mountain. The discussion encompasses both of these Qt GUI projects, as well as the support script, wda.sh (Weather Data Access), which provides the underlying data for both of the big GUIs. The wda.sh has replaced a more complex software application, TCS_WDA, as of 16 November 2015. The wda.sh obtains data from multiple resources which are the fundamental providers of the data (data dictionary items, weather information, All Sky images).
