• Transmission curves for UBVg'r': Solid curves are nominal transmission curves. For the Sloan filters these correctly show the blueshift that results when these filters are placed in a convergent f/1.45 beam. The dotted and dashed curves for Sloan-g' and Sloan-r' are measured, but in a collimated beam, so while these more accurately represent the filter transmissivity, the nominal (solid) curves provide a better estimate of the central and cut-on/cut-off wavelengths.
