Summary
Split night.
D-time UT until 11PM Local time (6hr UT)
Details
UT 01:00 - Waking MODS1
UT 02:00 - Attempting to connect LBC-R to telescope - receiving TCS communication error - lbckill/lbcstart issued
UT 02:02 - lbckill/lbcstart worked
UT 04:00 - too cloudy even to find an M5 star. John H worked on loop_observe11.py script, to make it work when only one side of LBC is on. Previously it needed both LBCs to be on, even though only one side might be used. Tested it with both sides on - OK. Will test it at some later time with LBCR on and LBCB off.
UT 04:09 - promising hole, but clouded over again. Closed about 5 min ago.
UT 04:50 - turned off LBCs and turned back on only LBCR. Tested new loop_observe11.py script in this configuration. It is working, so the changes which John made now allow one to run loop_observe11.py when only one side of the LBC is on.
