Dither Patterns

There are various dither patterns available to select in the LBC GUI: random, circular, rectangular, LBC 4-step and 10-step default and user defined. The 4-step default is designed to position the target on the center of each of the 4 detectors. The other patterns are more generally intended for observations of a field. However, not all of the available patterns will produce gap-filled mosaics as the end result (e.g. random, rectangular, circular may not). The rectangular and circular sequences are depicted below.
