REC_20090603_151453 (650 modes),.. tested and itshowed that can works prioperly till gain 0.2. This low gain performaces can be due to a mismatch of the pupils. After checking the diameter we show that there is a 0.3 pixels off, so this can affect to a Rec matrix of 650 modes. This could be reason why sometimes this Rec works properly at high gain up to 0.7 and sometimes not.

* *Acquire a set of slopes for the file sinus600_ seq_30Hz.txt and saved in the directory sinus_20090622. This is done using the same WFS and Secondary set up for the other files.

TEST BIN1 WITH LESS MODES

To see if the performance matches the one with less modes at bin2 and bin3.

We retrieve the acquisition for the official reconstructor (142233, 351modes) and re-analyse it cutting more modes:

CONDITION NUMBER ANALYSIS

The plot below shows the condition number of interaction matrices (binning 1, 2, and 3) as a function of the number of controlled modes. The modulation was different in each case: (bin1: ???, bin2: 3 lambda/D; bin3: 6 lambda/D).

Expected behaviour:
  • Effect of modulation: The condition number should increase with the modulation, since the sensitivity decreases.
  • Effect of binning: As the binning increases, the condition number should increase abruptly for a lower number of controlled modes.

Strange behaviour:
  • Binning 2: Note that the condition number is worse than the one for binning 3!!!
