flattening with 200 modes with intmat: 20130825_140604/flat_data_301modes.sav failed (same result as yesterday)
we now try to build up a new inter matrix with the following tracknums: tr=['20130825_132358','20130825_160410']
flattening failed
flattening failed also when trying to flatten several times with 100 modes
INTMAT
A problem was found: last 1 or 2 modes are collected with zero command. That is particularly problematic when we want to join together two or more set of modes. While waiting for a fix, we collect IM with modes 0-200 in a single measure.

Again missing frames. We found that the lost frames were not necessarily the last ones, but some frame was missing within the sequence. That is Trigger problem. All the
IntMat made up to now in this run are not good, all have at least one missing frame.
Fixing of the Trigger Problem
We found a way to estimate the number of missing trigger frames. The 4D log has been updated to show this info. The 4D log is here:
/towerdata/meas/adsec_calib/4d/4Dlog/yyyymmdd/4Dlog.out
Start troubleshooting
Reset the 4D: still missing frames
cleaned all the fiber connectors (excluded the one of SW BCU for the moment): still missing frames
Changed the trigger transceiver box with a spare: no longer missing frames
OK
INTMAT
after resetting the 4D we found that the phasemap sign was changed. KEYWORD FACTOR=-1 added to hexalign and opt_int_mat_reduce2

convection is now affecting the data quality, so we decided to average images over a longer time span. see command below, where avetime is the total spanned time
print, opt_int_mat_reduce2(661,TRACK='20130826_082237', avetime=100)
INT MAT WITH SCALE FORCE
Running the intmat with the scale force factor applied. Command applied;AdOpt >print, i4d_opt_intmat(501,660, FORCE_SCALE=0.5/0.3)
With the new INT MAT the flattening is still high in the centre but it has improved in the edges; WFRMS:70nm.
A large mask covering all fringing effect of the mask hole is applied and it has been seeing that the forces aplied in the cetrer are less and the flat at the edges is better, the RMSWF goes around 36nm.
A large acquisition of the flat is taking to reduce the convections using the large mask. The command applied;
AdOpt >print, opt_int_mat_reduce2(600,TRACK='20130826_082237', avetime=100)
Noise measurement
20130826_102500_noise
we evaluated that convection at 0.1 ms provides a WFE =40nm RMS
flood lights off
New interaction matrix
500x500, small mask ;
AdOpt >print, i4d_opt_intmat(i*50,i*50+49,avera=11)&i+=1
After mode 500 we applied the command;
AdOpt >print, i4d_opt_intmat(600,660,avera=11,FORCE_sc=0.5/0.3)&i+=1
comm4d.Produce is run for the set of intmats
