Software progress report - June 2007

• Refinements in various routines which directly control some hardware devices
  • revised the homing algorithm for the Atmospheric Dispersion Corrector
  • upgraded the engineering GUI for the CCD's
  • Enhanced the communication with the ethernet controlled switch in the AdSec
  • Added procedures to compute the stress in the secondary mirror.

• Upgrades and bug fixes to various libraries and programs
  • Added the capability to change the CCD binning on-the-fly
  • The python module which manage the configuration has been revised
  • Added capability to acquire interferograms to the python library interface
  • Various bug fixes.

• AOS
  • The preliminary version of the AOS code has been completely revised. Now the basic structure of the subsystem is defined in all details. A first prototype is up and running and undergoing the first communication tests. The full set of commands have been defined.
  • The coding of procedures to serve AOS initiated commands on the AO Supervisor side has started.
