RON CCD39 ccd39 - binning 1
Speed: 2500 kpix/sec - RON (ADU): 20.99   -  RON (e-):  10.49 (estimated)
Speed:  890 kpix/sec - RON (ADU): 13.31   -  RON (e-):   6.66 (estimated)
Speed:  400 kpix/sec - RON (ADU):  8.95   -  RON (e-):   4.48 (estimated)
Speed:  150 kpix/sec - RON (ADU): 10.46   -  RON (e-):   5.23 (estimated)

Noise seen on one quadrant: Identified to be RED BNC cable.

Exchanged BNC cables (RED and GREEN) and noise remained in the same CHANNEL, thus it's (RED cable) reading channel.

RON again: ccd39 - binning 1
Speed: 2500 kpix/sec - RON (ADU): 24.04   -  RON (e-):  12.02 (estimated)
Speed:  890 kpix/sec - RON (ADU): 15.78   -  RON (e-):   7.89 (estimated)
Speed:  400 kpix/sec - RON (ADU): 10.36   -  RON (e-):   5.18 (estimated)
Speed:  150 kpix/sec - RON (ADU): 12.42   -  RON (e-):   6.21 (estimated)

Interaction matrix/reconstructor acquisition tests done

Fixed some software issues specially in the configuration:
  • User id for adopt were different, aligned to adopt id 500, changed on WFS (from uid 514)
  • M2C towerdata shared space: symbolic links created:
    on WFS: $ADOPT_ROOT/calib/adsec/current -> /towerdata/adsec_calib
    on ADSEC: $ADOPT_ROOT/calib/adsec/current/M2C -> /towerdata/adsec_calib/M2C
  • Also absolute paths are sent thus if the ADOPT_ROOT are different, on the ADSEC side a symbolic link has to be created resembling the WFS one
    on ADSEC: /usr/local/adopt/current -> /home/adopt/AO/current
  • Some hardcoded directories were fixed (e.g. W2 inside the path)
Populated M2C/KL_20101207

First reconstructor with 50 modes done: 20101227_17382 using disturbance 20101227_154908: Closed loop successfully.

200 modes reconstructor 20101227_180406 done with loop closed (gain 0.05): Closed loop successfully (although unstable for high gains, lamp not very luminous thus bad signal to noise ratio).

NOTE: terminal server ts8 had to be rebooted because it kept some connections opened even though there was no process connected. (for logging into ts8/ts8dx use user id root)
