The 4D interferometer new electronic has been received at about 13.00. The unit has been reassembled in the lab. The laser light output has been found stable. Then, with the unit in the optical lab, a test of the interferometer operation has been done by using a small flat mirror. The results has been negative. The interferometer do not measure properly the flat mirror. Some analysis of the interferometer frames sees to show either some reordering error in the pixel or some problem with the internal mask of the unit. The test frames has been recorded as reference data. Then a decision was taken to return the unit to 4D premises tomorrow for further investigation.

FLAO activity
