Problem on the pointing

In IRAF the software for the pointing had the option AOMODE set, but the preset was not ACE and the pointing failed to center the star for collimation.

Prova Offset DX

We switch back to DX to test the bug fixing done by Alfio on the AOArbitrator. This was releated to an operation mode during large offset that is now obsolete (TCS 2012C) but was still in the AO DX SW because the software was frozen to last year. Since it is critical for the forecoming PISCES run we decide to fix it and test it.

The test is succesfull. A series of small and large offsets is given through iifoffset and the system behaves as expected: pause loop, move stages and resume if the new position is in the AO acquisition field or just paure loop in case of large offset outside the AO acquisition field.

E' vero che la sinusoidale fa peggio, ma e' anche vero che pesca sistematicamente i valori minimi di autogain, quindi forse potrebbe fare meglio con dei range di autogain piu' adatti

Il bin 2 e' nervosetto, aumentando i guadagni dei modi alti pare l'orecchia allo specchio. Si mette il bin 3 e si va in souplesse.
