List of ToDo:

  1. Check that the zero position of ADC is actually the position of minimum dispersion
  2. Save a flat at 500 modes.
  3. Measure IRTC best focus for J-filter in different field position. Yesterday measurement (40.2) doesn't agree with previous measurments (39.6)
  4. Measure again the IM for KL_v9 and KL_v10 with the new pupils. The measurements of yesterday have been done without dichroic on the FW #1

ADC check

The ADC is in the position corresponding to the minimum elongation as verified on the CCD47.

AdSec flat

A new reconstructor 20120601_162417 (500 modes KL_v10 new pupils) has been generated from IM 20120531_214529.

Tested and a flat with 500 modes is created and applied as default.

KL_v11 Rec

The reconstructor for the KL_v11 has been generated using 400modes using IM 20120531_230000.

This IM is a copy of 20120531_223853 that has 1 of the 12 files corrupted. Alfio fixed it.

Check of focus in different IRTC camera positions

AutoFocus 3mm, 0.3mm, 100 frames x 50ms, (138,67) gives a smooth curve. The algorithm selects z=40.2.

We move on the opposite side of the field. We repeat here several times the measure of the best focus.

We find 39.6, 40, 40.35 and 40.5. In all the cases (but the second) we are not confident of the measurements, it seems that the noise is preventing us to obtained accurate results

We select z=40, not too different from the 40.2 of yesterday.

With dichroic 600/100 and elevation brakes off we measured the IM 20120601_175540 for the KL_v10 new pupils and we created the 2 REC at 400modes (181313) and 500 modes (182144)

ERROR: in the following tests the CCD39 frequency was set to 600Hz instead of 990Hz

Actually the SR are slightly better when the LUCI pump is off. Need to compare tilt PSD in the IRTC and in the sensor. At a first glance the modalplot don't show any signature of the pump vibrations, suggesting that the effect in the PSF could be related to oscillation induced in the IRTC only.
