  • M1 crosstalk SX/DX (3 hours) LFBG/RDG [DMiller]
  • New Active Optics tests (1.5 hour) [DMiller]
  • LBC DOFPIAlow displaced frame focus offsets (1 hours) [JHill/OKuhn]
  • WRS v0.9.7 tests on LBC-Blue (and Red) (2.5 hours) [M Stangalini]

Backup Programs for Bad Seeing

  • measuring the practical AO patrol field (2 hours, good for poor weather) [D Miller]
  • LBC pointing models (2 hours in bad seeing) [JHill]

Pending

  • MODS2 transform check (2 hours, good seeing, waiting for Rick to finish the computations) [DMiller]
  • LUCI1 asteroid spectroscopy (does anybody want to do this?)

Open

PEPSIPFU on both sides

01:50 Open to a nearly photometric sky, T=5.1, D=-5.6, Wind 6 m/sec from West.

02:00 Test preset from Ilya succeeds as far as guiding on the LED image.

02:05 back to zenith to understand why the DX Adsec won't set.

02:10 Preset to an actual target while Geno and AO guys are worrying about SX AdSec - no star found.

ACQUIRE preset M5_0256 SX IE=-20 CA=-22 DX IE=-20 CA=-206 (right side far off compared to Jan 2014)

02:54 ACTIVE preset both to Gamma Gem - Guiding is very slow to move start onto the hot spot (as if the angle is wrong). Images are quite ugly on both sides.

03:02 ptincrement 0 IE 2 (guide image moved right when it should have moved 45 deg upper right)

03:03 ptincrement 1 IE 2 (I got distracted and didn't see which way it moved, but it was not correct.)

03:03 2 minute PEPSI integration

03:13 Changed 47.0 to 0.0 on SX. Stopped and restarted GCSL. That didn't help at all, but neither made it worse.

03:18 ACQUIRE SX IE=-25 CA=-22 DX IE=-16 CA=-217

03:24 ACTIVE preset - guiding spirals in same as before. GCSL recognizes the angle I changed in the log.
