The guide probe 0,0 position was measured by taking a long exposure guider image while rotating the MODS2 instrument rotator 270 degrees and measuring, with DS9, the center of the guide star circle.
  • Measured CofR
    • Center of the arc was measured to be at 190, 184 pixels.
  • Current CofR
    • Guider hotspot is 267.0,240.0.
    • Guider ROI is "85 51 449 424"
      • X_CofR = 267.0 - 85 = 182
      • Y_CofR = 240.0 - 51 = 189
  • Difference = 9.4 pixels

to be within 6 guide camera pixel of the center of rotation

  • MODS2 Guide probe center of rotation.
    • The large green circle traces the guide star arc
    • The green X is the center of guide star arc
    • The red circle is the position of the guider hotspot

The guide probe hotspot of 267.0, 240.0 is acceptable, but y should be changed to 239.0
