LBC Focal Plane Tilt
00:45 Open Dome, configured for the two LBC's

01:00 John collect LBC data to determine shim size to improve focal plane tilt. Seeing ~1.2 but need good seeing ~0.6. Thus, data are probably not useful. Will try again tomorrow night. Details are in SciPrep20121130

MODS1

02:00 reconfigure to MODS

02:30 set pointing and collimate

03:00 Collimated with new Sext Act Opt. Have to change some parameter so get exactly the same act opt output in IDL as GCS.

03:20 Now get the same output.

03:25 Preset to guide star near the edge of the file to

04:02 Stop and start GCSL to reread .cfg file. Now should use mask9.msk, as it was with the old Cow.

04:30 Collimation with new Sext Act Opt is good and MODS images are round.

04:45 turn off new sext in GCS and stop and start

05:04 Seeing wings on the guider images:

05:20 David clear C00

05:40 Act Opt not collimating. Asking for -1400 Z5, but guider image remains elongated. PSF GUI shows -20000 Z5. Problem with PSF. Talk to Chris. Should not have pressed C00. PSF lost count of applied zernikes. Press clear active optics. Everything is back to normal.

06:30 Collimate with new Sext. mods1b (11) has round image, mods1r (8) has round image with a little wing

07:00 Juan Carlos collect 20 point pt and col model with MODS.

09:00 Back to Sext with MODS. Now have recon with 2 columns removed in directory

09:30 turn on high order with all +-1 and factor 0.3. Not clear what is going on. Get high order on primary

09:45 wfsc 500 clear act opt

09:55 tried to set high order coeff to 0.0 except for 12 and 13, but was editing LUCI file. High order aberrations again. Clear active optics

11:50 Collimate on dim star, on-axis. wfsc ~656-666. Collimated quickly for so start of night aberration

11:55 preset to far off-axis star * well collimated

12:10 Primary drop

12:23 preset bright on-axis star to collimate with star. Did not clear active Optics: wfsc 686-699. Forces too high on primary, clear act opt and OK
