02:00 Modified oacontrol.conf.20120304a (called now 04b) to have the new guider hotspot, measured 20120204, to be x=260, y=288
02:15 Steve restarted oacserver several times, but failed. /var/log/messages on agw-control computer says LOG_ERR ERROR while parsing config file: syntax error. Does not say which line or what the syntax error is.
04:45 Doug finds that Thomas Hahn (tmh 20120207) added a lim_f=-13908 #=> ~0.5deg or..... I think comment # is not allowed after a parameter. Moved the comment and will retry.
05:00 Dave and Jochen finish collecting a 32 star transformation set.
05:20 Doug start calculating a new transformation. The plan is to make new transformation, install it and then dither along a slit.
10:30 Doug does not have any success building a transformation. Specifically, he can reproduce Jesper's results from 20120915, but could not reproduce his results from yesterday. Jesper emails a new transformation and instructions on which numbers to change.
10:45 Steve restarts oacserver. Starts fine, so the comment on the same line as a parameter must have been the problem.
10:50 Doug runs transform_collect on 6 stars. Average value is not the center of rotation because of flexure, but the error is about +- 1 pixel on LIUCI.
20120308 Doug processed this small transform set (/Work/AGW_Data/20120305/transform2). In this data set the X_0 and Y_0 value were not the "correct" values in the they were not using the average position of X and Y for all position angles. The values used, -0.4, 612.5, are for PA=-90 (ie rotator angle = 250). However, because of flexure in LUCI, the average value should be used so the transformation is reasonable for all rotation angles. However, it is interesting that we measured such small rms error. I think these are near the value expected from the movement accuracy measure with the laster tracker. The important numbers are:
X_rms = 5 um
Y_rms = 9 um

11:00 Jesper emails that there was a typo and that the Y_0 value in aocontrol.conf should be 611.5 rather then 612.5. Doug changes the oacontrol.conf file and Steve restarts oacserver.
11:03 Doug transform_collect the same 6 stars. Average y changed from 1042 to 1053. A bit of overshoot, but that because fo flexure.
11:10 Doug starts dice5_collect,
InformationTechnologyER=5, DIST=10, EXP=4.0. Had a previous 0,30 RA/DEC offset to the dice5 is not centered on the center of rotation. This is OK.
20120308 Doug processed this small transform set (/Work/AGW_Data/20120305/transform3). This set has the X_0 and Y_0 suggested by Jesper for from the average on-axis position due to LUCI flexure. The important numbers are:
X_rms = 33 um
Y_rms = 46 um
Thus, this transformation a comparable to the previous transform use prior to the AGw#3 repair.

11:15 Doug used IRAF, ds9 &, imexam, a to find the centroid of the star on LUCI.
11:42 Complete the dice5 data collection.
