AGW Bias Frames for MODS 1 - 25 May 2011 UT (at the start of an LBTI/LMIRCam night)
Observer: J. Hill
Summary
Took bias data for MODS1 AGW cameras with (full frame guider, acquire frame guider, guide box guider, wfs).
No on-sky flat data possible due to LBTI observing configuration.
Details
~23:50 Turn on the MODS1 AGWs
23:57 Stop/Start GCSL - AzCam reporting the "no buffer space available" message. See Issue 3316.
~00:01 Warm reboot both AzCam Windows PCs
00:04 Kill/Start GCSL (should have stopped GCS before rebooting Windows)
Data lives on the mountain in /OldRepository/AGW_Data/20110525_MODS1/ with names like left_guider000169.fits or left_wfsc000050.fits
readGuideCam left -e 2000 -> 0001 (has light, instrument isn't dark even with hatch closed, or is AGW above hatch?)
readGuideCam left -e 1 50 -> 0002-0051 (43:512,16:455 Acquire frames)
readWFSCam left -e 1 50 -> 0001-0050 (bias level is 70 at 9 degC)
edit OSU_L.cfg to change the guide CCD binning parameters 43 16 512 455 -> 1 1 512 536
readGuideCam left -e 1 -> 0052 (still in Acquire format)
00:26 Stop/Start GCSL
readGuideCam left -e 1 -> 0053 (full frame)
readGuideCam left -e 20000 50 -> 0054-0103 (these are internal flats, without the beamsplitter structure)
readGuideCam left -e 1 50 -> 0104-0153 (full frame biases)
readGuideCam left -e 2000 -> 0154 (hatch was explicitly closed)
edit OSU_L.cfg to change the guide CCD binning parameters 1 1 512 536 -> 224 394 298 468
Stop/Start GCSL
readGuideCam left -e 1 50 -> 0155-0204 (biases for the typical guide box readout, 224:298,394,468)
~01:00 Restore OSU_L.cfg to its default BP11 configuration, turn off the MODS1 AGW stuff.
