RFBG Commissioning with Adaptive Secondary - 28 April 2010 UT

Summary

Poor conditions of observations. Cloudy and Windy. We had to close twice the telescope one time due to the clouds and the other due to the wind.
The seeing was then not favorable for transformation or focus data.
Marco also had to reset 3 times the shell of the secondary mirror.
Other events during the night :
  • 1- the gopoint.cl did not find sufficient stars so we did the procedure manually.
  • 2-The AGw failed once.

We spent part of the time on focusing and collimating for the training of Steve and we collected 12 cubes of observations as part of the pointing data for a model of pointing.
