Open

6:00 open to promising conditions. Lets see about seeing. Will slew to BS 9188 at first and collimate, then look at I166 for astrometric data and then BS9107 for AGw IRTC focus offset.

6:08 preset to BS9188, acquire star and collimate. resend preset in acquire mode to tune IE CA -> -12 -68, SEeing 1.5" - 5" on short timescales

Calibration of Zernikes for EF

6:20 turns out Doug wants some callibration data for EF, presetting to M5_0881 GS 3. collimated cecking exposure time for EF, going for the default 0.1 s 300 frames, try to start guiding and don't reacquire star, resend preset and acquire.

6:35 switch to collimating in IDL wfsc 2-9 have to resend preset and preset fails, try again and succeed, but now can't stop WFS, kill and restart GCSL (I think I confused it by accidentally trying to run IDL at the same time GCS was WFSing).

6:55 starting again, collimating on GS 3 in 3+" seeing, wfsc 12-18, sending + 3000 nm Z5, measuring wfsc 19-21, taking EF data "3000nmZ5000 0036-37 .fits". take out the 3000 nm Z5, only saved 35 so have to start again.

7:08, loading +3000 nm Z5 on M1, taking measurements wfsc 27-29 , taking EF cubes "EF 3000nmZ5000 0037-38 .fits".

7:15 collimating on GS 3 again IDL wfsc 30-33

7:19 Doug, Nancy is stacking cubes and saving them with an "AVG" suffix"

This cube of the moon is interesting as it seems to show that we have vibration-like motions of up to 0.3 arcsec from frame-to-frame.
