Night time Activities

8:00 The network on the mountain had been "reset" so all my terminals and gui have died. Also AGW has shutdown, must start and re-home all motors

8:30 pointto BS9166: Failed three times because of MCSPU error. David had to "kick" the rotator and the next pointto worked

8:40 Cannot see star. Had to put in Tip/Tilt on Secondary, and global offsets and spiral search and set IE=-99, CA=-50

9:15 AGW oacserver is very slow. UMAC is continuously reloaded. Turn off AGW and reboot agw-control computer. Problem fixed. Guess the reset of the network caused some problem with the agw-control to UMAC communiction.

Determine focus offset between IRTC and Guide Camera

10:30 pointto WT10_298 collimate 24-28 Primary z = 1.100 mm

Stop Guiding, move out probe, focus IRTC by putting focus on primary. "Best" focus at z=1.042 mm which is adding z4=-1500 nm on primary (seeing is ~2")

Move primary and take image cubes on IRTC

Collimate on axis with guide probe at 21 mm. Put -1500 Z4 on primary and move guide probe, measure wavefront and find stage position where measured z4=0.
