Summary

AGW#2 is in the telescope. RR is installed. The AGW#1 is in the lab working on the stage movements. Acquire source and close the loop using the AO procedures for day time. Pupil wobble analysis. AO limitation with the new rotation position (180 degrees respect the previous AO runs) Bad weather impossible to open and to observe. Hand over 4:30pm

Close the loop using the AO user document.

The LBTO users using the AO user document are available to close the loop and acquire the reference spot during the day time activities. The tertiary was changed to the last positions retrieved on sky during the nights 21 and 22. Tip=-549 Tilt=350 Piston=0 Sel=-24.04

With this new position of the tertiary the spots were found in: x=-0.4 y=0.9 z=3.7, Rx=-233,Ry=61,Rz=0

Some changes were made to the procedure that it will be updated in the new release of the document.

Pupil Wobble data acquisition.

At close loop and moving the telesacope rotator by 30 degrees we took data of the camara lens positions (x/), Thin shell oflload (Rx.Ry) and rotator position. It has been found more less the same results thaty using the another M3 positions with about 5 pixels wobble. The data are:

Limit AO performances due to change of 180 degrees rotator.

It has been found that when the telescope rotator is below 20 degrees, the re-rotator can follow the rotator and the loop will be open or it can not close the loop. some discussion will be take place in the following days with Simone and LBTO staff.
