Summary

Retro-Reflector work.

Identification of the zero rotator angle position. The value for zero rotator is 117.6

close loop performances and system stability. It is important to see if the secondary is stable working in close loop regimes.

Details

09:00 Retro- installed in the telescope and systems are started up. Not problems

Working in the determination of the rotaotr zero position. This angle was retrieved at 117.6 degrees. Tom Sargent and Dan Cox updated the configuration file with this new value as zero position. After this new values was in the system, the AO system could close the loop without any other rotation problems.

Close loop at different binings

The AO system is tested to work at different binnings. Test done in a high flux range

Secondary "stress" test.

19:00 A disturbance with a bad seeing is loaded to the secondary and the loop is closed to leave the disturbance running. The secondary runs without any problem (after three hours).

Recovery AO system after shell RIP.

The operations of recovery during a skip frame has been improved and the AO system (WFS and Secondary ) are reporting the right status.

Tip/Tilt mode.

Working on the TT Mode. New lookup table of reconstructors and optimizations for the different binnings. We need to consider high flux objects. The TTM has a lookup table for bin 1, 2 and 4
