  • Runa and Marco walked me through most of the startup procedure for DM672a and the needed software to operate the mirror. A description will be added to the Wiki here
  • We refined the alignment by aligning a plum-bob mounted on a beam at the center to the lower flange to the laser output of the 4D interferometer. With the offset of the hexapod/dummy hub/retro-reflector made last week, the should put the 4D in the correct position relative to the retro-reflector.
  • Marco used the decomposition of the interferogram to semi-automatically move the hexapod to remove and T/T/F/C (IDL routine hex_correct2())
  • Built a 10 mirror mode reconstructor matrix between the 4D and DM. The mode data was collected by opt_int_mat_acquire() and the reconstructor applied with opt_int_mat_reduce() (see here)
  • Improved the flat with the 10 mode reconstructor
  • Acquired 50 mode reconstructor
  • Improved the flat with 50 modes
  • Acquired 150 mode reconstructor
