Change IP to SwitchBCU

You need the software from Microgate called "Engineering Panel" (shortly EngPanel). The software is already install in the Adopt computer (laptop), the computer is store in the 3U AO cabinet. The procedure can be applied for any BCU.

1. Identify and record the MAC address of the switchBCU, it should be a label on its front panel or on the back of its mini-crate
2. Connect a window laptop running the EngPanel with an ethernet cable directly to the switchBCU
3. Configure the laptop with a subnet with a static IP (ex. 192.168.0.10)
4. Start the EngPanel
5. On the EngPanel popup window select the ethernet card you used in step 2) and 3)
6. From the drop-down menu, select "SetBCUiP"
7. Fill the fields with MAC address of the switch BCU and the IP you want to set
8. Push send button. Note that this command will work without any reply from the BCU
9. Reset the BCU with the red button on its front panel
10. Configure your ethernet port with an IP number in the same subnet of the switch BCU and try to ping it
