Summary.

Run the rotation check with the last pupils file to see the repetibility of the movements, it was observed some jump in x and y direction, it is still large ampitude of the y axis and a sharp transition. The retainers were tightened and it improved the jumps, but it is still a sharp change.

Alessandro checked the camera and it is observed a movement in the y-axis.This requires a clamp to push the camera down.

Prototype built at the telescope but it sinot good enough.

options:
  • vertical axis clmaps, possibility to have two points.
  • points of epoxi glue to improve the x-axis movements.

it seems that it moves further in the negative y, the error goes to >1pixel.

Amplitude in the Y-axis reaches the poistive or negative limit when the rotator is moving negative, for positve movements the camera lens has range in both axis.

Vertical axis clamp. Built the prototype, but it is not good enought.
