David started the WFS, no issues with start up.

26 degree elevation limit has been set although it was not on the calendar for tonight. This was a miscommunication as it should have been set for the AZ run to grab this target. Review the procedure with David. Informed him the process has not been passed to the OSA's as of yet but he had heard about it so was useful to review. Shared the wiki and the calendar, as well as reviewed when this elevation limit would be implemented.

3:20 Preset sent to PSF star. Rerotator error. LFBG rotator at -43 degrees. David moving 360 deg to resolve. Andrew had a LUCI1 camera error at the same time so resolved simultaneously

3:25 Preset resent to PSF standard. So the PSF standard is skipping to bin 2 with an estimated mag of 13.7...but we don't know the mag of the target. We do not want to take a PSF standard with the wrong params so are going to the primary target and will do the PSF standard afterwards.

3:34 Non Sidereal preset to Davida sent. AO target did not appear in CCD47. The fieldstop is also misaligned. Andrew is going to offset the target and is going to realign the field stop and offset the target to the center of the field. Many struggles on Andrew's side with the LUCI field stop.

4:12 Star centered on detector and still was not visible on CCD47.... So Andrew forgot to set the AOref as nonsidereal....that explains why I couldn't find it in ccd47

bin2, frequency 935, estimated magnitude 12.5
Seeing went soft just as we started optimize gain. The optimization for bin2 is crazy!! with tt31.66, ho1.95, ho22.70 TN 20210411_112300

Seeing blew up to 1.8" We are abandoning.

We cant grab any useful science data at this point. I will grab some tracking numbers and in teh mean time

No optical gain TN113812

Apply Optical Gain (seeing 1.31") 0.070. TN114036

corresponding luci images were taken (luci1.20210411.0163

Moving on...very disappointing
