Summary.

Observed during the arcetri SW tests that the pupil check process failed due to saturation of the camera lens. The bin 3 was checked yesterday showing a saturaiton positions.
A full bin 1,2 and 4 will be performed to check the pupil positions and correct those that it will be required.

Details.

Bin1 rot check.

Starting from 440 rotation angle, the optimize gain failed. Loop close and set manual gain to TT0.6 HI0.1
Reeat AO preset from Zero rotaiton angle perform forward and backward data acquistions.
  • Loop close at 1.7KHz.
  • magnitude 10.
  • Argos cal Unit Open full.
  • Close loop ok
It shows a saturation at 340 rotation to

LOOP OPEN BY ADSEC COMMANDED STOP AO. It seems that the pupils are not illuminated.
  • Open Loop.
  • break the wobble_test_forward.py script.
  • AO preset at 180
    OK. Close loop OK.

crop time: 21:44 to 21:48. The camera lens shows saturation in Y direction negative, but the pupils errors are inside of 0.2 subap.

PUPIL ERROT ABOVE THRESHOLD AT 280. This is much less than before (no shift)

The stop of the loop occured at rot 270. It was recovered and continue. The pupil error are lower and it seems that it is at mid range.
The reason seems that the camera lens drift too fast from one posiiton to another and the Adsec skip frames and executed the StopAO

There is not time left to perform a checkl for bin1 shift.

COMPARISON BEFORE AFTER SHIFT.

It is a reduction in the pupil errors.and the position in Y direction improved.
