    • ALERT! tested bin3, but super unstable. b3 seems finicky about pupil positioning, also some checkered modes on the forces plot.
    • ALERT!Optical Gain test attempted but many errors in the log suggest software is not setup properly.
  • 3:33 IDL went zombie - recovered 4:07
  • 05:36 RIP returning from offsets. 3" seeing, also slightly vignetted pupils.
  • 07:27 Reseme offset failed for bad bcu2k. Rebinning brought it back to life.
  • 08:35 RIP returning from offset at 34 deg el with 2.5" seeing
2:58 OSCO on HDHD72524. Steve is running it. Cirrus
  • WFS Estimated magnitude 8.8, seeing 1.1-1.5" on the Dimm, variable, thciker cirrus moving in
  • optical gain 0.222 gains 0.51 0.21 0.18 luci images -31, TN#100822, TN#101103
  • NCPA enabled, optical gain 0.240, Luci1 0032- TN#101509, TN#101753

BIN2 pa180
  • Seeing around 1.3 during acquisition
  • estimated magnitude 13.7 on OCAM, 11.8 photons/subapp, 70counts average pupil intensity, bin2, 400Hz, emgain 600
  • camera lens railed in X at rotator angle 157
  • setting rotator to 250deg so the rotator will come to 157 from higher values. We were operating at 161deg rotator position yesterday with no issues of railing.
  • Camera lens continues to rail in X and looks very far off.
BIN4 TTM pa180
  • sending preset to bin4 at same PA
  • 3:45 Noisy OCAM2K viewer. Power cycle BCU2K & rebinned
  • seeing mostly cloud
  • Managed to close but then we had clouds. but there was suffiecient range ont eh camera lense to close in bin4
BIN2 TTM pa90
  • rotating 90 degrees and the camera lens did not rail for bin 2, current rotator position 56.
  • but we really want tohe originall PA...what if we observe with bin1 instead
BIN1 RRM pa180
  • setting bin1 instead for 12.2 mag catalog magnitude star to see if we can solve our camera lens issue.
  • Bin1, 100Hz, emgain 600. Estimated magnitude 13.8. 8.1 photons/subapp, 45 counts average pupil intensity.
  • DIMM reporting 1.56" zenith corrected, 2.04" not.
  • 0.75" on LUCI1 ESM, 1" on SL
  • 0.664 slope RMS
New target - BIN2 TTM rotator 25, successfully closed with plenty of range ont eh camera lens
  • estimated magnitude on OCAM is 14.8, bin2 frequncy 400, gain600.
  • luci1 0.26", luci2 SL 0.68".

  1. PA0, LFBG rot pos 280deg. Camera lens railed in X on center pupils. We had approached the rotator position from lower angles when we slewed to this target
  2. PA60, LFBG to postion 340deg. Camera lens railed in X on center pupils. Approach from lower. Pupils look more misaligned than previous when lens was railed, -0.68 in X, Y ~0
  3. PA120, LFBG to position 401deg. Camera lens railed in X on center pupils. Approach from lower. Pupils look more misaligned than previous when lens was railed. DiffX -1.06 Y ~0
  4. PA180, LFBG to position 102 deg. Approach from higher. Diff X -0.13, DiffY 0. Still railed in X.
  5. PA240, LFBG to position 162deg, approaching from lower. On Center pupils, DIff X -0.18, Diff Y with camera lense railed in X at -100 again.
  6. PA300, LFBG to position 223deg, approaching from lower. On Center pupils, DIff X -0.43, Diff Y with camera lense railed in X at -100 again.
Approching each from the opposite direction
  1. PA300, LFBG to position 224 from 250. Diff X -1.11, DiffY 0. Railed in X at -100.
  2. PA240, LFBG to position 164 approaching from higher, Center pupil Diff X -0.94, DiffY 0. Railed in X at -100.
  3. PA180, LFBG to position 105 approaching from higher, Center pupil Diff X -0.54, DiffY 0. Railed in X at -100.
