SX Startup Testing

Notes from yesterday's finding of the light:
  • Authorized as RETROREF on SX
  • SX Secondary Hexapod: 3.440 2.200 -1.563 -37.844 102.727
  • Measured Magnitude 10.6 (I think that the calibration is different from CCD39, so I'm not sure if this is correct. Plenty of light, though, at 600 gain.)
  • Board Setup File Saved: CalUnit _JUNE1
  • I used the bin 1 reconstructor from the default LUCIFER table: Rec_20190930_161000.fits
  • The loop closed nicely and the shell is very flat.
14:34
  • Setting up the telescope
  • AdSec Control GUI wasn't showing logs, I had to restart it.
15:00
  • Had a major error on the W-Unit: All processes disconnected from the Message Daemon.
  • Had to use the quick recovery method to get the adsec to stop showing closed loop.
  • WFS showed "Operating", when I started the Arbitrator GUI. I decided to cycle the power, the OCAM was warm; I hadn't started cooling yet.
  • Main WFS power wouldn't turn on, cycled the processes.
15:27
  • Everything finally OK, chilling the camera.
  • 1.6" gain at 1700 Hz
  • Reconstructor, Bin 1 Rec_20190930_161000.fits
  • optimize gain had an error and we don't have a lot of time, so manual gain
  • Minimized slope rms
  • Gains: 0.40 0.35 0.35
  • Optical loop datasets: 224612, 225153, Error! Can't save any more datasets
15:45
  • 1.2" at 1700 Hz
  • Gains 0.25 0.30 0.30
  • Still having troubles saving datasets
16:00
  • 1.0
  • 0.15 0.20 0.20
  • 0.8
  • same gains
16:14
  • Bin2 Rec_20191011_125000.fits
  • 1000 Hz
Running low on time.

I have tested every reconstructor in the table, all seem to work with seeing.
