20181116 Changing DX AdSec Configuration for NEW KL_v26 Basis Set (and back to KL_v22 Basis Set)

Step to change DX AdSec Configuration

login to AOeng@dxadsec
$ cd aoroot/config/current/TS3
$ cp bad_actuators_KL_v26.list bad_actuators.list
$ idl
IDL> adsec_make_bad_act_files
IDL> exit

=> Rest and Power off DX AdSec
=> adsc_stop
=> adsc_start
=> adsceng & etc
=> Power On and Load Programs.
=> Ready to SetFlatAO

  • To change back to KL_v22 configuration follow the same steps as above but copy the file:
$ cp bad_actuators_KL_v22.list bad_actuators.list

New Bad Actuators

  • With the KL_v26 configuration had to include act 567 in the position do-not-use list
  • Get large positive force on act 355 and large negative force on 356. Not sure which is the problem. When have a chance we should put one and then the other in the position do-not-use list and see if high forces go away.
  • Do we need to add these changes to the bad_actuators_KL_v22.list file? Wait and see.

Configureation Information
