DX LUCI/AO Comm

02:44
  • Pointing the telescope.
02:58
  • Sending first preset.
03:10
  • Camera lens was causing problems. Restarted the processes and re-sent the preset.
  • Seeing is horrendous. We'll probably stop and wait for a while.
  • I'm going to take a dataset. 031524
  • The software changes did not break the w-unit.
03:21
  • I've lost all of the light and the loop opened.
03:26
  • Shell ripped when I was setting gains. IDL DSP write error.
03:49
  • Preset working again.
  • Stated mag 11, CCD39 shows 12.3
  • Seeing 1.4 - 2.00!
  • The dumb thing is still working
  • Autogains 2.55 0.57 0.42
4:18
  • A few high clouds are causing a slight dimming in the guide star, but everything is stable, so far
04:45
  • Clouds: We're waiting for a while.
05:43
  • Jochen is doing a bit of seeing limited stuff.
07:58
  • Still not really good enough for AO.
  • We will wait 1.5-2 hrs and see...
10:55
  • Reconfiguring for LBC. I'm here to monitor the wind.
11:12
  • There might be (too) high wind toward the target...
  • It's a no-go as I measured some high gusts toward the south west, in the direction of the target.
  • The shell was set during the slew through the high-wind zone, so the TSS wouldn't have been a problem, but it would have to be rested, when the target was observed.
  • We're seeing if there is anything else that the LUCI team wants to do.
  • Olga is doing some LBC collimation, away from the wind.
11:29
  • Configuring for LUCI2, seeing limited.
