  • Preparing for preset.
  • Optimize gain failed
  • Manual gain setting failed because I clicked the button too quickly. I then stopped the loop incorrectly, I should have used the variable inspector.
  • I can't get the loop to re-close because of a slot-not found error. That usually requires a restart of the WFS.

  • Successful preset on both sides.
  • We are still having trouble with SX.
  • The pupils are shifting.(on SX)
  • It seems that since we had to do some moving of the stages to center the same star as on DX, the offset of 0,0 moved the pupils.

  • Doug and I seem to have found different stars... I'm in binning 2, mag 12.6, he is in bin 3.
  • Seeing has worsened.

  • GCS seems to be pointing the two different sides toward different off-axis guide stars.
  • Since we are in a globular cluster, the AO systems found guide stars anyway.

  • We had an offset failure due to the loop opening for an unknown reason.
  • I think that the realtime pupil routine is getting confused in bin4. I've manually centered the lens and turned it off.
  • I've made some screenshots to capture the oddities that the realtime pupil routine is doing.
  • Andrew said something about problems that he was having with the same issue.
