Daytime SX NCPA Measurements

15:07 Skip Frame and then repeated ICE error
  • Closed loop Bin 1
  • Stable
  • Something happened and see checkerboard patter on the top half of the current mirror control gui
  • Skip frame to 100%
  • Just sit there and repeat the error below
  • Pressed "Open" loop on WFS control GUI. Loop open OK
  • AdSec left in strange (high order) shape
  • Load default.sav. All OK

Now it appears sensibly perfect.

18:33 UT Cable Chain Drive fault. Possibly my fault as I was spinning the rotator too quickly, I tried to hit the "HOLD" button, but accidentally hit "OFF" (they are right next to each other). Trying to turn it back on gave me the error.

Had to restart system. Adsec started in an Unknown state and I had to try a few IDL commands to try to get it in a usable state: fsm_power_off() didn't work. fsm_power_on() put the adsec in a funny "power_off" state where it wouldn't power on because of a "generic network error". Restarted software again.

19:53 Still unable to recover adsec.

20:33 Had to start under UAO.

21:47 That was resolved, now the IDL server is down.
