How to Optimize Spot on Patrol Cameras

This topic contains the instructions to optimize the spot on the Patrol Cameras moving the Launch Beam Corrector and the Focus Stage in the Lan System. It is the beam sharpening with plots.

If the commands below fail!!

If you get errors check homing of the Beam_Corrector.
You can home with the 'Home' button on the motor GUI of the beam corrector (i.e. start with 'Manual Sharpen' button).

Pre-requisits
  • Heater should be stabelized if not you have to beam sharpen soon again (firefox: Zabbix menu: Zabbix-dx-lalas, Tab "dashboard", link "Lan Heater controller")
  • You should be in ACQUIRED or LAUNCHED
  • Open the guider loop in ArgosArbitrator GUI, tab "Loops", LGS guider button "Open loop"
  • The telescope should be collimated.

With the spot of the Laser Guide Stars on the Patrol Cameras send this series of commands in the argos_dx_terminal on the dx-lgsw machine:

sandbox.optimizeStopOnPatrolCamerasDx(argos)
argos.takeSnapshot()

SX

With the spot of the Laser Guide Stars on the Patrol Cameras send this series of commands in the argos_dx_terminal on the sx-lgsw machine:
from argos.terminal import sandbox
sandbox.optimizeStopOnPatrolCamerasSx(argos)
argos.takeSnapshot()
