Fast guiding check w/ oscilloscope

11:30: Tommaso and Sebastian go on the telescope to check the Fast Guiding delay.

We connect an oscilloscope after the 10x divisor installed by Julian Z. The output of the BCU is in the range 0-100V, with the 10x divisor the signal to the NIbox is in the range 0-10V. This image shows the electrical scheme of the 10x divisor and the frequency transfer function.

In the first test we send two step offset with the ARGOS software. The step are 0.005 rad, every 0.1 seconds. We notice that the signals are double steps, the first is 1V and the second is remnant part of the signal.

We connect the output of the PI module to the oscilloscope and we check the delay. The PI signal has a delay of ~1ms, this is consistent with NI box delay measured by Diethard in MPIA. The PI control is ON. The settling time is 4ms.

We decrease the steps, now are 0.001 rad, every 0.1 seconds. The double step disappear. The settling time now seems be 3ms.

We connect the signal form the BCU (with the 10x divisor) directly to the PI module and we check the signals. We notice that the output signal has no delay.

14:30: Tommaso and Sebastian go back on the telescope to make some other measure and install the WfsCameraPump1 on the pnCCD of the WfsCamera1. Pressure inside the pnCCD was 12mbar.

0.008 rad step on RED channel. We disable the control loop and we move the RED mirror with the "argos.hvc.channel" command "moveTo"

17:30: The pressure in the pnCCD on the SX side was 0.34mbad. We unmount the pump.
