TT w/ Pyr Bin4 test

8:00: we start with PyrWfs, setup as Bin4, mag 15.

  • CCD47 is not set to Bin16 during the preset
  • TS at Bin4 is missing the KL basis at first startup:

9.30: we close the loop with 1" disturb:

9:40: we have too much light in the dome, people is working on LUCI platform and need ligths on. We switch to mag 10, Pyr setup as Bin2, 990Hz. LUCI rotator at 341deg.

20160513_autogainTTonBin2.png

Jitter to PyrWfs board IM

10:00: we try to acquire jitter to FLAO stages IM, to do this we close on Pyr + LGSW, we wait for TS to converge, we disable LO and HO modes and we run the acquisition procedure.

  • Jitter to board IM: 20160513_171800

We test the loop, it seems to work, we first tried a single measurement and we applied it by hand on the FLAO HW GUI. The second measurement converged.

  • It measures LGSW jitter offset and it tries to null the average of the 3 measurements by moving the FLAO stages. To do this the loop needs the FLAO to be locked on the on-axis source, otherwise the FLAO stages just drift aways since any feedback of the actuation is seen by the LGSW jitter.

QC flux loss evaluation

10:30: we have back dark dome after kicking out LUCI guys. We start to perform QC faint end tests.

Preset sent for mag 15, Pyr BIN4 50Hz as TS, QC running at 100Hz.

We move the rotator to 0deg. TTM converges to [1.56; 3.63]V, FW1 to 90-10. Lamp at 54 steps:

  • We overlooked the fact that QC was not updating the integration time basing on the NGS magnitude. During NGS acquisition QC is set by default to 100Hz (value can be changed in QC .cfg file). Then when closing the loop the QC counts are translated analitically in equivalent NGS magnitude and the integration time is updated. To do this the QC requires a getSummary to lgsw controller. If this stacks (mutex pbl? too many resqusts? it is noticeable because the discotheque freezes) the QC integration time is always kept to 10ms...
